I want to take a few to give a big thanks to Lt. Gibson (Smurf) of #6 C-Shift for maintaining our SCBA program. Pictured above is Smurf starting his fifth consecutive day of SCBA inspections & repairs. It was rumored that yesterday he began working on finishing up the inspections @ 0750 & was found still working on the @ 0230 when the Engine was sent on a fire alarm @ Wachovia Tower. Thanks again Smurf! On another note, it appears that there was a malfunction of equipment here yesterday that C-Shift proved how to adapt & overcome. If you will notice, this is the printer that we receive our dispatch information from; good thinking guys.
